What this is
You write what is happening. Each of five traditions answers with a passage from its own texts, or stays quiet if it has nothing close. No answer is written for you: every passage is shown word for word from a public-domain edition, with its reference.

Privacy
Nothing you type leaves this device. The search runs here, in the browser. There is no server, no account, no analytics and no cookies, and what you type is not saved.
After the first load the app works with no connection.
How it finds a passage
By meaning and by shared words, together. “Strong” and “weak” say how close in meaning the passage is to what you wrote. They do not say the passage is good advice.
The texts
A ¶ in a reference is a paragraph number this project counted, because the edition has none. Some passages of Jung quote other writers at length; those are marked.
Updates
The app looks for a new version each time it opens with a connection.
